The Home Edit

The Newest Celebrity Studded Organizing Show

If you like to keep your finger on the pulse of organizing trends and pop culture, the new Netflix show The Home Edit might be perfect for you. The two founders of the online organizing company The Home Edit—Clea Shearer and Joanna Treplin based out of Nashville, Tennessee—are hosting the newest binge-watch premiering September 9th with eight episodes. Their signature organizing style combines aspects of decluttering while infusing a space with their company’s design aesthetic and their customers functional needs for the day to day.
The show will feature the homes of Reese Witherspoon, Khloe Kardashian, Mandy Moore, Neil Patrick Harris and so on. Each episode will take the viewer through their specific process of organization, which include the folding techniques of our favorite organizer here at Avance, Marie Kondo. Their work often features bright color coordination and perfectly labeled bins for every section of the home.
Clea and Joanna became instant friends and started their company in 2015 when their families relocated to Nashville. Since then they have gained popularity through their playful Instagram account thehomeedit . The company is a perfect example of social media age success as they share not only organizing tips but hilarious content about motherhood, friendship and the everyday stresses of life.

The organizing company has become much larger over the years as they have now written two books on organizing THE Home Edit Life: The No-Guilt Guide to Owning What You Want and Organizing Everything and The Home Edit: A Guide to Organizing and Realizing Your House Goals. The pair also branched out into their own organizing products available on their website as well as a merch line that directly relates to their Instagram brand.

So, clear your plate for next Wednesday night and the weekend because this show will be some serious organizing inspiration!
